Do You Trust Your Brain

Posted: 05/23/2008

The brain is sometimes arrogant. It can be a very deceitful thing.

Pride will place it upon a pedestial making it act like it's a king.

Knowledge is the "fast food" of the brain. Obese with information, self is its creed.

Its focus is upon what it wants with reckless abandon of its need.

Are you someone who is religious? Spend a moment with this thought:

Is the rock of truth your foundation or sands of opinion you are taught?

The brain thrives on emotion. The stimulant may be good or bad.

Reality is sacrificed for feelings and common sense exchanged for a fad.

Living for the future is a gamble with stakes too high to make a bet.

Imaginations can portray a false future and you cannot know what you'll get.

Living in the past supplies no meaning. The past, once gone, will not return.

Memory may give a moment of pleasure then leave an emptiness you can't discern.

Today is the only day with promise. "Now" is the only time to live.

God is not known in past or future. "Now" is the time he must forgive.

God's words are called "Jesus", do you know that? His words can prevail within your brain.

His words can replace imaginations and give you a life you can't obtain.

Where will your opinions lead you? The answer comes from Adam and Eve.

Their brain set aside the words of God leaving them with no one to believe.

In the Bible you can find the truth. Matthew and John will help you know

Jesus (God's words) is able to save you. Otherwise you must reap what you sow.

Because of the difference in mental and spiritual intelligence (Romans 8:1-6), the thoughts originating in the physical source (brain) are at enmity with God for they are unable to be submissive to God (Romans 8:7). There is a way which seems right to a man but the end thereof is the way of death (Proverb14:12). Behold! NOW is an acceptable time. Behold! NOW is a day of salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2b).

America's Solution

Posted: 05/20/2008

If more than 80% of Americans believe in God, why doesn't 80% of Congress pass laws based upon the words of God? If church people believe God why are most of the criminals and immoral people members of a church? Could it be that the god these folks "believe in" is something they and their religion cooked up from their own imagination? Has the "Living God" been reduced to theology so everyone can choose to do what is right in their own eyes? Has the world confused the "believe in God" subterfuge of Satan with the "believe God" faith which grants access to God? John the Baptist found the people assigned to reveal God to the world controlled by an opiate called religious ceremony and tradition, agenda oriented leaders and a corrupt, overbearing government. His message was "REPENT". Repent is America's only hope. Will America be wiser than Israel?
